Instagram Special –  Tips To Get More Likes & Followers

 If you're anything like me and my sister, you have a feeling that Instagram is the absolute best way for you to brand yourself and build your business.

Way back when we got started we didn't have  clue, but we soon learned the power of Instagram and decided to dive into some training, which we implemented immediately.

(This module is part of the training course we took)

This is what we found and why we want to share our tips with you.

 1.Find your thing

 This means that you need first of all to find out who you are and what you want your “brand” to be. Whether you're a network marketer loving gardening or a real estate agent crazy about cars, stick to what you have chosen as to who you are.

Focus on your “theme” and be consistent about it. Your followers will expect that from you and that is why they were attracted to you in the first place.

For example, my sister is a network marketer and very spiritual and her posts reflect that. She even draws a card from a Tarot deck everyday and write about it in a post.

I am an attraction marketer and love nature and shooting pics with my iphone so I use my own photos as background for my memes and posts.

 2. Make awesome content

What is awesome content? Well, if you think about what the people you want to attract might like you are well on your way.

A must of course is first of all use really high quality photos. Working on Instagram you'll need one of the better smart phones on the market and usually they have great cameras. Also use photos from free services such as “unsplash” and canva.

Your content should inspire, motivate, engage, stir the emotions of your followers. Also, it should contain some kind of value. Quotes usually do and so does a beautiful picture. Tips and advice is also great content and most importantly, it is pure value.

The more valuable to others your content is the more awesome it is.

 3. Tell a story

On Instagram we have the space underneath the photo where we can actually write quite a bit of information. This “caption” is often underused, including by myself, and it's a great waste of valuable space for you to get your message out and brand yourself.

An incredibly powerful way to do this is by telling a story. If your picture has a story – if it's your own it usually has – then do tell it!

Stories engages people, stories tells who you are, stories brings YOU to life on social media.  Stories attracts people to you like moths to a flame, so do not miss out on this one.

That ,of course, doesn't mean that every post you do should have a long story in the caption area, especially not if you post 5 times a day.

But if you want to stand out, your story is definitely a must.
